Fall 2013 TrendsMonday, September 23, 2013
So fall officially began yesterday! It's starting to feel a bit more like fall here in West Texas, which is a shocker. Our weather mainly consists of windy, hot days, but here lately we have had cloudy, rainy days. Which I LOVE!
So in honor of the fall season officially kicking off, I wanted to put a post together of what will be HOT and on trend this season.
Most of us see outerwear as just a way to keep warm during the cooler months, but do consider the style and your outfit when purchasing or styling an outfit. Think of bold pieces that will complete your outfit all while keeping you warm.
During the warmer months, sun hats and even beanies were really big. Well don't put all your beanies away just yet! They are sticking around for fall. You obviously want to make sure your beanie is appropriate for fall, think warmer, thicker materials.
This fall classic prints will be huge! Think houndstooth and plaid, along with menswear inspired fabrics and clothing. Another print that will transition its way into fall is leopard print! That's right, leopard print is sticking around for yet another season.
You can add these prints in just about anything....just don't over do it! ;)
Jewel tones made a big debut during Fashion Week this year. Think emeralds, rubies, sapphires, and jade colors.
Adding jewel tones can be as easy as adding a simple earring to adding a great emerald shoe or bag.
White one white and black on black were also seen a lot during Fashion Week this year. You can't go wrong with an all black ensemble, so chic and elegant.
How simple can this trend get!
Military inspired clothing is already being seen a lot, especially mixed in with faux leather.
Camos, khaki greens, studs, and big jackets will be seen everywhere. Military inspired clothing can be a bit masculine, so to add a feminine touch to your outfit, try adding lace or cute dainty jewelry.

-I've been adding a few more things to my aStore. I love shopping through it because you can definitely find some good deals.
-I've been trying to figure out some more color combos using my Nude'Tude palette, so keep an eye out for a new post.
