So about two weeks ago I posted a Beauty Haul featuring some high-end and drugstore products. A few things were repurchases and some weren’t, after trying some of these out for 2 weeks, I figured it was time for a review.
So I bring you a review on Hard Candy’s Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer!
Before we get started, I have extremely bad dark under eye circles. I also have freckles, a few scars from previous breakouts, and I don’t suffer from acne, just your usual hormonal breakouts. So on we go!
Glamoflauge Heavy Duty Concealer by Hard Candy
Price: $6.00
Size: Concealer 0.71 oz, Pencil 0.023 oz
Color: Light
Shade Selection: 5 Shades
Company Claims | A heavy duty, highly pigmented, blendable concealer that provides the ultimate coverage. Create a flawless surface by covering birth marks, freckles, dark circles and even tattoos! — Hard Candy Website
Overall Application | I apply this in a patting motion in the areas I want and need extra coverage. It is very easy to apply and goes on smoothly.
Overall Color | There are 5 different shades to choose from–Ultra Light, Light, Medium Light, Medium, and Tan. I like my under eye concealers a little bit lighter than my actual skin, to give some brightness and highlight at the same time, making this shade just right for me. I think for a drugstore product the shade selection is just fine, seeing as many other drugstore concealers only come in 3 shades.
Overall Formula | It blends really well and it’s also very creamy. The teeniest, tiniest amount of concealer goes a LONG way! You don’t need much product at all, which is a great.
Overall Packaging | I don’t see anything wrong with the packaging at all, I like that not a lot of product squeezes out at one time, since you only need a small amount.
Overall Scent | This concealer does have a certain smell to it, not too sure how to describe it. It’s not super strong, but it’s there.
Overall Wear | Under my eyes it creases really bad after about 4 hours of wear. On my other problem areas such as my chin and the redness around my nose, aren’t a problem at all. It wears for long-periods of time and it does not cake up.

Final Thoughts
After 2 weeks of trying this product out I’m 50/50 on it. The coverage it provides is AMAZING, however I really don’t like that it creased under my eyes. I know most concealers crease, but I honestly have never had one crease as bad as this one does. I love that it hides my dark under eye circles really well, but I do not like how it wears on me. Around my nose and my chin it does an amazing job at hiding my redness and my scars. I will definitely continue to use this product for problem areas, breakouts, and redness; but I will not continue to use it to hide my panda eyes.
I don’t think this concealer will be the best on someone with dry skin. I have oily skin find this product to be a bit drying on me.
Would I Repurchase?
Like I mentioned earlier, a little bit of product goes a long way, so I don’t think I will be running out of this any time soon. When I do run out–in like 5 years–I more than likely will repurchase because I do like the coverage it provides every where else.
Now I will be honest and say that I am not too fond of the pencil included, I really haven’t found much use for it, and find that I have not reached for it since I purchased these.
Also, I don’t have any tattoos, so I can’t make any claims on that part, I have however, heard and read many reviews that his concealer is a dupe for the Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer. Unfortunately I haven’t tried it yet, but when I do I will let you guys know for sure!!
So there you have it! I hope you guys found this post helpful and enjoyed it!
Have you tried this concealer? What are your thoughts on it?
Until next time loves!!
