Some of my favorite posts and videos are “What’s In My Bag…” style videos! I even contemplated just filming a video for this, but I quickly changed my mind.
Over the holiday weekend, we went out of town, so I thought I’d share with you all what I brought along. Now, I’ll be the first to say that I over pack, all the time! Most of the time, I don’t use half of the things I take, but it’s better to be safe than sorry, right?!
Let’s get started!
I carry all of my makeup in a Sonia Kashuk travel case that I purchased at Target a few months ago on clearance! It has a fun print on the outside, bright and loud, I love that! And it has several compartments and little bags inside that house all of your goodies.
Hello eye products! Who needs all this when they are travelling? Sheesh! I like to take my favorite mascaras along with a few open tubes that need to be used up. I also carry a boatload of black eyeliners, why? I don’t know, one usually does the job! And as an eyebrow junkie, I like to take a variety of pencils to work with, Anastasia, Maybelline, Chella..etc.
I always pack my MAC Prolongwear and Maybelline Dark Circle Eraser. Along with those two, I take one to hide any blemishes, Maybelline Fit Me, and a salmon corrector, Eve Pearl. Also included, are some eye primers and eyelash curler.
I usually always carry neutral palettes, so I packed my Lorac Pro and Naked Basics. I only used the Naked Basics, by the way. And of course, a setting spray, Urban Decay’s Deslick.
Obviously I was on a pink kick when I packed lip products! I packed almost all Revlon products, with the exception of the Milani Lip Intense and Anti-feathering lip liner, check out my review and swatches here! I also carry more lip products in my purse…Urban Decay, MAC, Bare Minerals are some of the few I had in my purse.
I always pack two foundations….CoverGirl Outlast for everyday wear, and MUFE Mat Velvet + for long wearing, shine free, special days. Of course, I included a couple of primers, Benefit’s Porefessional and theBalm’s Time Balm. A couple of setting powders, Benefit’s Hoola Bronzer, a highlighting powder ( Mary-Lou Manizer) and blushes.
I carry all of my brushes in a separate case, usually just the essentials, like a powder brush, stippling brush, a few eye brushes, and of course my beloved Beauty Blender.
So that’s what I usually pack when I go out of town for a few days…you don’t want to know what I pack when I’m gone for weeks! Geez!
Honestly, I only used a few of these products, but I always play it safe and pack extra!
So, what do you carry when you are out of town?
Are you an over packer, or under packer?
Until next time beauties!
