I wanted to compile a list of the top 10 products under $10 that I recommend the most when asked what I think is good. But…it was HARD trying to narrow it down to just 10 items. So…I have a HUGE list of products that I think are some gems and totally worth trying.
I have split it into categories to make it easier on you guys. I really tried to zone in on only the products I know, love and have worked well for me. Let’s jump right in!
I’ve only tried a handful of drugstore primers and the Rimmel Stay Matte Primer has worked best for me. It’s not the absolute best primer out there, but if you tend to get a bit oily, this will do the job — I don’t think this will work for those with insanely oily skin. Foundations can be tricky to find — but my number one recommendation that’s under $10 is the CoverGirl Stay Fabulous Outlast 3-in-1 Foundation. It has good coverage, lasting power and it has a pump! The Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless is another great option at the drugstore, it doesn’t hold up too well on my mega oily skin, but it’s a good foundation. If you want to correct under eye darkness, the NYX Dark Circle Concealer is perfect for that — great range of peachy to orange-y shades — and for concealers, these Maybelline concealers are MY favorite — Fit Me Concealer, Instant Age Rewind, and Master Conceal. I’m not sure why I haven’t tried more powders, but if you’ve been here awhile, you know that I love the Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder, any good drugstore powders you recommend (remember, oily slick over here!) For blushes, my personal favorites are the Milani Baked Blushes, ELF Blush Palettes, and the new Maybelline Master Blush Palette — that also comes with a highlight! Lastly, to bronze up the face (and even contour a bit) the ELF Contour Palette is wonderful!

The only eyeshadow primer that has wow’d me from the drugstore, has been the Wet N Wild Picture Perfect Eyeshadow Primer — it HOLDS up SO well, but probably not the best with those that have dry eyelids. Everyone raves about the Wet N Wild trios, and for a reason, they are awesome — also good eyeshadow palettes, the Makeup Revolution Iconic palettes and Maybelline The Blushed Nudes! For singles, I recommend the L’Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow singles, SO good! For a good gel eyeliner, I really like the Maybelline Gel Eyeliner and for a pencil, the Rimmel Eyeliners are good quality. I won’t talk too much about mascaras, because you all know how much I love the following, CoverGirl Clump Crusher, L’Oreal Carbon Black Telescopic, CoverGirl The Super Sizer, and Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama. A few good eyebrow products, the NYX Micro Brow Pencil, Essence Make Me Brow (great dupe for Benefit Give Me Brow) and NYX Control Freak Gel.

It can be a bit overwhelming to shop for lip products at the drugstore, there is a plethora or lipsticks, lip pencils and lip glosses. I have narrowed it down to my absolute favorites. These are products that I have multiples in. For a good lip balm, I love the Jack Black Lip Balm in Natural Mint — so refreshing! If you are looking for a good matte lip product, these are my favorite (and they aren’t drying) — Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm, Maybelline Creamy Matte Lipstick, Maybelline Vivid Matte Liquid Lipstick and L’Oreal Infallible Matte Lip Gloss. Looking for a nice gloss, the NYX Butter Gloss comes in a variety of shades and smells delicious, and the Maybelline Color Jolt Lip Paint will give you a pretty sheen on the lips. And for your regular creamy lipsticks, the Milani Statement Lipsticks and Essence Lipsticks are great choices.

A few random beauty finds that are well loved — any of the Sephora Eye Masks or sheet masks are really nice, a good face wash — Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Face Cleanser. One of my recent finds that I’m in love with is this Nip+Fab Glycolic Fix Scrub, it’s great for sensitive skin types and this Formula 10.6.0 Pores Be Pure Mud Mask is a good started mud mask. Some current body favorites — Tree Hut Sugar Scrub, Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer (review here) and the Jergens Natural Glow Moisturizer. A nail product I can’t live without, Sally Hansen’s Instant Cuticle Remover, no need to cut your cuticles, this removes them in minutes! Love this line of 7 free polishes from Pacifica and when I want something a bit more fun, the imPRESS Press On Nails are easy to apply and last about a week or so. Also, these Cutex Nail Polish Remover Pads are ahhhmazing and they don’t stink! Lastly, these 2 products are items I repurchase frequently, Aussie’s 3 Minute Miracle Deep Conditioner and L’Oreal Extraordinary Oil Hair Serum.
